Apprenticeship as a mechanical engineering technician (M/F/D)

Job description:

This profession requires a high level of basic mechanical understanding and manual dexterity. Thanks to your extensive training, various departments are open to you for specialization. As a mechanical engineering technician, you will accompany the production of worm gear screw jacks and various contract manufacturing jobs.

Apprenticeship period: 3.5 years

Vocational school: Attnang-Puchheim

Your activities:

• Working with conventional and computer-controlled
• Production systems, assembly of worm gear screw jacks

1st year of apprenticeship: Basic training: Filing, drilling, thread cutting, sheet metal edging, riveting, cutting to size, grooving, groove cutting

2nd year of apprenticeship: drilling, conventional turning, assembly

3rd year of apprenticeship: gear cutting, grinding, welding, CNC turning

4th year of apprenticeship: CNC turning, CNC milling

Requirements:

• Compulsory school-leaving certificate
• basic logical understanding
• manual dexterity
• Interest and willingness to learn

Apprentice remuneration (metal industry) is gross per month (as of 10/2024):

• in the 1st year of apprenticeship: € 1.050,-
• in the 2nd year of apprenticeship: € 1.270,-
• in the 3rd year of apprenticeship: € 1.625,-
• in the 4th year of apprenticeship: € 2.110,-
