INKOMA mourns the loss of founder Manfred Obermeier

The INKOMA GROUP bids farewell to Mr. Manfred Obermeier, who passed away peacefully on September 18th, 2025.

53 years ago, he founded INKOMA, initially as an engineering office. Together with a continuously growing team, Mr. Obermeier transformed the business into a corporate group which operates today successfully across borders in the field of drive technology and supplies customers all over the world. We are deeply grateful for his courage to question the established and his tireless drive to shape new ideas.

"Manfred Obermeier shaped INKOMA – as a founder, as an entrepreneur, and as someone who consistently translated ideas into products and solutions. We preserve what works and develop what can be improved – in this spirit, we are continuing his life's work," says Peter Behrbohm, Chairman of the Board of Management of INKOMA AG.

The business activities of INKOMA Maschinenbau GmbH in Osterweddingen/Germany, and Maschinenfabrik ALBERT GmbH in Gampern/Austria, will of course continue without interruption. Projects, delivery commitments, and agreements remain fully valid. Our customers can still reach their usual contacts.
