1. Generally
The completed checklist becomes part of ALBERT’s order documentation.
For the correct exchange of information, you as customer, receive all the information you need to correctly assess your application. At the same time you have to ask for all the necessary criteria.
The operator must ensure:
- Compliance with the performance of the lifting gear or the lifting system
- A potentially explosive atmosphere always has to be avoided. If this is not possible, the danger of explosion has to be reduced
- Compliance with the operating and maintenance instructions for the corresponding screw jack
2. Explosion application areas for screw jacks– Device group and Category (Zone)
2a. Device group I:
Devices for use mining/underground operations as well as open-caste.

Explosion group: The danger increases from explosion group II A to II C. The higher group includes the lower ones (e.g., II C includes II B and II A).
The customer must always specify the ignition temperatures of the substances.
